This special edition in English, dedicated entirely to the Sacred Heart, was written by Guy Boyer, the editor-in-chief, and was published in 2019.

This sanctuary serves as a spiritual oasis for all who visit, a place of welcome, prayer, peace, mercy, and strength. Designed in the Romanesque-Byzantine style, the basilica, recognizable by its white color, was constructed between 1875 and 1912 by architect Paul Abadie. It was the result of a vow made by Alexandre Legentil and Hubert Rohault de Fleury to build a church in Paris dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The Sacred Heart, with its radiant whiteness, is the second most visited site in Paris, surpassing the Louvre Museum and the Eiffel Tower.

Following France's defeat in 1870 to Prussia, Alexandre Gentil and Hubert Rohault de Fleury made a vow to erect a sanctuary dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. After numerous trials and a construction period of over sixty years, it took shape as a magnificent basilica.
