Sacred Heart Scapular in fabric

Lovely Sacred Heart scapular made of fabric. A scapular is a small religious object consisting of two rectangles connected by a cord. It is usually worn around the neck. This brown fabric model measures 5 cm and has a 50 cm cord. It is lightweight, discreet and easy to wear every day.

The scapular was originally a large piece of cloth worn like an apron by monks when they worked. Carmelite monks and nuns still wear it today. Over time, its size has been reduced so that anyone can wear it more easily. 

Care instructions: Do not machine wash. Simply wash it in cold water, as the images may fade if washed too often. And even if they do fade over time, it is not a problem: the important thing is that the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Our Lady of Mount Carmel scapular remains brown wool fabric.
