Our Lady of Peace: a powerful presence at the Sacré-Cœur in Montmartre

The prayer inscribed on this bookmark echoes the statue of Our Lady of Peace, located in the Chapel of the Virgin Mary within the Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur in Montmartre. In this quiet place, the statue invites visitors to pray. Many come here to offer up their intentions. Others simply sit for a few minutes. The peace symbolised by Saint Mary takes on its full meaning here.

This bookmark is part of the same spirit. It extends this moment of contemplation into the home or daily life. It forms a link between the holy place and everyday life.

Prayer to Our Lady of Peace:

Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Peace, you came to us to bring us the peace of God, Jesus, your Child.

Together with all those who have called upon you in times of trial, we come to you with confidence, for you are our Mother.

This prayer is in French on the bookmark.

Why choose a "Notre-Dame de la Paix" bookmark from the Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur?
