This cross was created by an exceptional French workshop. This house, founded in 1846 in Saumur, was originally specialized in rosary manufacturing. Its rosary-making activity is linked to the existence of a basilica located at the entrance of Saumur on the banks of the Loire and dedicated to a miraculous statuette of the Virgin of Pity known as "Our Lady of Ardilliers." It was discovered in 1454 by a local farmer in his field near a spring. Today, this small business continues this family tradition of jewelry and religious art manufacturing, in line with the founder, thanks to the 4th generation with the same name
