Stéphane Esclef was born into a modest family in Amiens for whom faith was a peculiarity.

Raised by his grandmother, the young Picard discovered a passion: cooking. During his military service, he was drawn into a pilgrimage to Lourdes. In front of the grotto, he felt called to "roll up his sleeves and work in the Church."

Then, during a stay in London, he had a personal encounter with Christ during a night of adoration: "Stéphane, put down your knives, leave your stoves, follow me, and become a priest!"

As a priest in Paris, Stéphane Esclef has not lost any of his culinary talents. He still delights his parishioners from time to time.

But all for the greater glory of the Lord who once led him out of the kitchen...

In this moving and flavorful book, written with the collaboration of Albéric de Palmaert, the former priest of Belleville opens up freely.

Stéphane Esclef is now the rector of the Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur.
