Praying with the Sacred Heart

A compilation of prayers to celebrate the Sacred Heart of Jesus and his pure Love. A pocket-sized book to carry with you on your adoration pilgrimage and/or during your visit to the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre. It's a little book to help us confide in Him. As in these words addressed to Saint Marguerite-Marie Alocoque at Paray-le Monial in 1675, "Here is this heart that has so loved all men". Christ shows his Heart, the source of his human and divine love for people.

This spiritual collection, with its contemporary illustrations, will be your companion for the Jubilee of 2025, which will mark the powerful love of the Sacred Heart. A book to revive our hearts to the ever-present love of God, and to prove to him that we humans love him in return. A jubilee year to set out to meet him and maintain our devotion, trying to know the spirituality of the Heart of Jesus; from the Bible to Saint John Paul II.

In this booklet, all the prayers are directed towards Christ, to welcome God's mercy and find peace through the Heart of Jesus. It's a way of reaffirming our faith and trust in Him.

This book contains an introduction by the rector of the sanctuary of Paray-le-Monial, Father Etienne Kern. You will discover the history of devotion to the Sacred Heart and how to pray to it.

Some events and dates to be aware of for the Jubilee of 350 years of Paray: Jubilee of the agricultural world and youth forum in February 2025, Paray meetings in February and March, Easter Triduum, celebrations of Mercy in April, Way of the Heart retreat in April and May, singles' jubilee in May, conclusion of the jubilee and celebrations of the Sacred Heart in June).
