Here is a set of 3 souvenir medals from the Sacré-Cœur of Montmartre.

On the back of these 3 medals, there is a magnificent view of the façade of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica.

After being carefully drawn and sculpted, the metal flanks of goldsmithing are stamped according to the model and cut into shape.

1st Medal: The Holy Sacrament

On the face of the first medal is the ostensorium, a sacred object used to promote devotion to the Holy Sacrament and the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. It plays a central role in the practice of perpetual Eucharistic adoration within the basilica.

Perpetual adoration at the Basilica of Sacré-Cœur was initiated in 1885, a few years after the completion of the basilica. Since then, it has continued uninterrupted, with believers taking turns for adoration day and night. The Sacré-Cœur souvenir medals are purchased by visitors to the basilica as a memento of their visit to this iconic site.

2nd Medal: The Sacred Heart of Jesus

On this medal, the Sacred Heart of Jesus radiates with the inscription "You are precious in my eyes, and I love you" (Isaiah 43:1-4). The Sacred Heart of Jesus is a symbol of divine love and Jesus' mercy towards humanity. It represents Jesus' unconditional love for humanity and his willingness to love and forgive them.

3rd Medal: Christ in Glory

Engraved on this medal is Christ in Glory, as seen in the basilica's mosaic, with the inscription "Jesus, I trust in you" (Isaiah 43:1-4). Inaugurated in 1923, the mosaic in the chancel by Olivier Merson, H. M. Magne, and R. Martin, with its 475 square meters, is one of the largest mosaics in the world. It depicts the resurrected Christ, dressed in white, arms wide open, revealing a golden heart.
