On this medal, a magnificent view of the facade of the Basilica of the Sacré Cœur.

On the reverse side, the Christ in glory found on the mosaic of the basilica is depicted with the inscription 'Jesus, I trust in you.' (Is 43, 1-4)

The mosaic of Christ in glory, inaugurated in 1923, is one of the largest mosaics in the world, covering the chancel and created by Olivier Merson, H. M. Magne, and R. Martin. It represents the resurrected Christ, dressed in white, arms wide open, revealing a golden heart. On each side, on two rows under golden arches, the tribute of the Church (on the left) and France (on the right) to the Sacred Heart.

The workshops of our artisan, established in 1833 and based in Saumur in the Maine-et-Loire region of France, are a reference in the creation, design, and manufacture of medals. They are part of the Living Heritage Companies (EPV) and are signatories of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) certification. They bring together numerous artisanal and technological skills in the manufacture of jewelry items. The artisans of the company, including designers, engineers, medalists, jewelers, and goldsmiths, work together in modern workshops. Our artisan plays an important role in passing on his French expertise to future generations.
