Here is a detailed description of the mosaic of the Sacré-Cœur:
Christ in Majesty: At the center of the mosaic sits Christ in Majesty, depicted in all His splendor and divinity. He is surrounded by a luminous aura that immediately draws the eye.
The resurrected Christ, dressed in white, with arms wide open, reveals a golden heart. The Saints and Angels: Around Christ, there is a multitude of saints and angels, each representing different figures from Christian history.
Some hold religious symbols or attributes that identify them.
The Saints of the Universal Church are present : the Virgin Mary and Saint Michael, Saint Joan of Arc, as well as France personified, presenting its crown and Pope Leo XIII offering the world.
On each side, arranged in two rows under golden architecture, are the tributes of the Church (on the left) and France (on the right) to the Sacred Heart.
