Comic Book Sacred Heart of Montmartre in Spanish
Discover the incredible story of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica in Montmartre, one of the most iconic monuments in Paris, in a comic book. This work traces the history of the Basilica, from its construction to the present day.
Spanish translation.
This comic book, in Spanish, is entirely dedicated to the Sacré-Cœur and was written by Jean-François Vivier and illustrated by Emmanuel Cerisier.
Suitable for children from the age of 8, it is a unique little gift for a religious ceremony such as a confirmation, for example.
The comic accurately recounts the history of this sanctuary from architectural, religious, social, and political perspectives. The basilica, recognizable by its white color and Romanesque-Byzantine style, was constructed between 1875 and 1912 by architect Paul Abadie following the vow of Alexandre Legentil and Hubert Rohault de Fleury to build a church in Paris dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
