To celebrate the Jubilee of 350 years of apparitions of Jesus at Paray-le-Monial and 140 years of Eucharistic adoration and Divine Mercy, discover our official guide to visiting the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. As the Basilica has been designated a jubilee church, this leaflet will be your main support for your visit. Your visit may be part of your jubilee process, your pilgrimage, or simply a discovery tour. 

This practical guide will help you take part in perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament; prayers suspended in time that never stop, even at nightfall since 1 August 1885. 

The French-language tour guide will take you through each of the majestic interior parts of the basilica: the nave, the choir and the mosaic, the chapels and the ambulatory, the dome and the campanile, etc., accompanied by informative and descriptive texts. For example, the emblematic mosaic in the leaflet, which is the largest in France: with our tour guide, you can learn a little more or discover the details of this hieratic decoration. At the centre is Jesus Christ, dressed in white, with his arms wide open, revealing his radiant heart. You can also identify the Saints of the Universal Church (apostles, martyrs, founders of orders, etc.), the Church of the Earth, the Saints of France, and the three vows of France to the Sacred Heart.
