Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre card

Watercolour message card representing the Sacré-Coeur Basilica in Montmartre. The basilica was built at the top of Montmartre hill. From here, you can see the whole of Paris. The Heart of Jesus watches over the city, over France, over our humanity in need of saving.

With its soft colours and delicate artistic style, this message card captures all the emotion and symbolic power of this emblematic monument of the Parisian capital. It's an illustrated card that tells a story: that of a timeless Paris, watched over by the Sacred Heart of Jesus, an emblem of peace and protection.

The message "Save us" is a powerful one, conveying hope, peace and light. This card with its religious and artistic message is ideal for accompanying a kind thought, a word of encouragement or simply to say ‘I'm thinking of you’ in an original and touching way.

Sister Marie-Espérance, a Dominican Apostolic, makes all her cards while praying. Painting allows her to express what is beautiful and good. The little ‘robin’ is her signature, and it features prominently on all the other watercolour cards. This Basilique du Sacré-Coeur card is a wonderful gift idea to give or to give yourself; a subtle little gift, easy to slip into a letter and to give on any occasion.
