Sacred Heart Jesus Mosaic Card

Magnificent Sacré-Coeur watercolor card depicting Jesus with arms wide open from the Basilica mosaic in Montmartre.

The apse mosaic shows Jesus welcoming us with open arms. The Savior of the world has his feet resting on the globe, symbolized by the green foliage. Among the fruits of the earth and human labor, vines and wheat symbolize the bread and wine that become the body and blood of Jesus in the Eucharist.

Rich in symbolism, this card Sacré-Coeur watercolor card invites meditation and prayer, while offering an artistic and spiritual vision of Christ's unconditional welcome. The Savior of the world, with arms outstretched toward humanity, conveys a message of peace, love and communion.

The message of divine love and welcome, "come and drink from the fountain of my sacred heart" (in french), is perfect for strengthening your faith and meditating. We find this Christ on the Cross in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, notably in the famous and resplendent mosaic in the choir.

Offer this message card to your loved ones on religious occasions such as First Communions and Confirmations. It's also the perfect gift for those who love spirituality.

This Sacré-Coeur card is made in France, hand-painted by a duo of sisters: Sister Marie Espérance, Dominican, and Sister Marie Chrysostome, Benedictine of the Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre. Both sisters are residents at the Basilique de Montmartre. Sister Marie-Espérance, a Dominican Apostolic, creates all her cards in prayer. Painting enables her to express the beautiful and the good. The little "robin" is her signature, and it features prominently on all the other cards of the two sisters' duo.
