Lent Journey Booklet - French

The official Lent booklet from the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre: 40 days to free your heart and walk with Christ.

The booklet "Parcours de Carême" (Lent Journey), 40 days following Christ, was designed by the teams at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre. It will accompany you as you move forward step by step. It is available in French only and is intended for all those who want to experience a deeper, freer, and more authentic Lent.

The Lenten season is a true inner journey. Our booklet is like a guide for living each day of Lent. The booklet offers daily guidance. 40 days to break the chains that imprison you and prevent you from being free.

Every day, you will find:

The Word of God, to let the Gospel light your way.

A short and concrete teaching from the Church.

A quote from a saint to inspire your journey.

A simple and realistic resolution to put into practice.

The Angelus from Pope Francis.

Each day addresses an inner "chain" (such as pride, anger, fear, hardness of heart, violence...) that prevents us from living fully as sons and daughters of the Most-High. This guide offers simple ways to rediscover a lighter inner life.

The goal is not to be perfect. The goal is to let God work in you, one step at a time.
